Check In

Terms and Conditions

 

A deposit is required to confirm the booking.  Once a deposit is received by Check In it is non refundable

 

All charges must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the hire, unless otherwise stated.  If there are any additional costs such as extra time, mileage, parking, or drinks they must be settled at the end of the hire by arrangements made.

 

Only Check In drivers are insured to drive the vehicles, therefore no other person, under any circumstances may drive the vehicles.

 

The Chauffeur will keep to a reasonable speed keeping within the law, and will use their judgement in relation to the prevailing conditions and road type.

 

Check In accept no responsibility, nor can be held liable in any way whatsoever for any delays howsoever caused.

 

Check In operate a “no smoking” policy within all their vehicles, should this condition be ignored the chauffeur is authorised to terminate the hire agreement, and a refund will not be offered under any circumstances.

 

In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking by the client, with less than 48hrs notice 100% of the agreed total cost is payable to Check In.

 

In the event of mechanical failure, due to circumstances beyond their control, Check In reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equal capacity.

Check In can not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to the clients and passengers property, howsoever caused.

The chauffeur reserves the right to refuse the carriage of luggage if in his judgement the volume of weight is excessive.

Check In will not be held responsible for use or transportation of any illegal substances or articles within their vehicles. The hire agreement will be terminated immediately without refund if the client contravenes this condition.

The clients will be held responsible for the conduct of all the passengers in the vehicles at all times.

The client will be held responsible for any or all damage howsoever caused by the client or their guests to the vehicles, to the minimum charge of £50 or the cost of repairing/cleaning which ever is greater. This includes sickness, spillage, stains, cigarette burns and fabric tears.
 
Please note: Charge for valet caused by sickness is minimum £70 for carpets and minimum £45 for leather seating (as charged to us by contractor). In certain circumstances where expert advice is taken, it may be necessary to replace the soiled furnishings, in this case a full charge will be payable by the Hirer for the total cost to Check In.
 
Check In reserves the right to terminate any and all services to unruly or abusive passengers without a refund.
 
All times stated in the booking must be complied to, anything outside these times will be charged accordingly and payable in full on termination of the hire
 

We collect passengers 30 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, this allows for passport control, baggage reclaim and customs clearance. We do observe flight arrivals and endeavour to collect you on time, however, we do not accept any responsibility for delays in collection directly connected to delays created by any airline.

 

It is now European Law that any passengers, under the height of 4’6” must have either a protective child seat or booster seat as is appropriate.  Our drivers will not take responsibility for carriage of passengers travelling without the necessary aids and may refuse passage.  In these circumstances, payment in full will still be required.
