About Us
When Malcolm Humpage and his wife Sue, a retired school teacher, opened Check In 1st Limited in 2002, their aim was to create a small company to keep them busy until their retirements. They had dreams, but never imagined the growth and success that was to follow from their early adventure.
Starting out with just one car, they made sure that every passenger was given the best possible service and, as a result, many became friends. Growth led to the purchase of additional vehicles and the hiring of drivers to share the load with Malcolm.
In a very short space of time, Malcolm and Sue realised that they had struck on a winning formula and worked very hard to develop the Company that is here today.
Their son, Andrew, joined the Company to work closely with the drivers and the fleet. Having been working in Senior Management with fountains
Malcolm, Sue and Andrew now direct a unique business that can offer all forms of road transportation from 1 to 51 passengers at a time. From their high end fleet of cars which still carry out the core of the business, travelling to and from the local airports to the stretch Lincoln Towncars working hard on the wedding cars area of the business. Their Coaches add a whole dimension to their already considerable operation.
As part of their expansion, Check In 1st acquired a locally run coach hire firm and now has an extensive fleet of coaches which has been upgraded dramatically from the purchase date at the end of 2007.
With strong links to Blackpool Football Club and an ever growing list of Corporate Clients, Check In 1st is a force to be reckoned with.
